Cinnamon stiks
Kinamon means fragrant, sweet-smelling. The term refers to an exotic spice with its characteristic red-brown color.
The famous Ceylon cinnamon is the finest quality. It is an evergreen tree that grows wild in Ceylon and is cultivated throughout tropical Asia. They use the bark of the branches of about three years, which is rolled due to drying. The leaves are leathery, opposite, ovate, on average a dozen centimeters, those of Chinese cinnamon are decidedly sharper. The flowers are small, white and collected in panicles. Aromatic herbs are used to brew Belgian Bière Blanche, Grand Cru, Tripples and Christmas Beers. They are usually added in the last 15 minutes of boil. In ancient times herbs were used to extend beer's storage time.
