Lactose adds residual sweetness and body to beer, especially milk stout. Standard brewing yeast does not ferment this milk-derived sugar.

Dissolve in hot wort and dose according to your recipe and desired sweetness. Account for lactose when assessing final gravity; it is not a priming sugar for bottle conditioning.

Contains lactose from milk. Store sealed in a cool, dry place.
